To build a clear and consistent public face for our project, and to communicate to all Symposium participants that the Bering Sea Project is an integrated effort, your Science Advisory Board and the NSF and NPRB program management strongly encourage the use of a BEST-BSIERP template for your presentations, especially for your poster presentations.
Find out more about suggested presentation templates.
Contact Carolyn Rosner with any technical questions about presentation templates.
The Symposium is a key event on the BEST-BSIERP Bering Sea Project calendar. It is also among the most important meetings of the year in terms of interaction with other scientists outside the Bering Sea Project, raising the visibility of our project and creating opportunities for collaboration. It's also a great opportunity for a PI meeting.
All BEST-BSIERP folks are invited. We will review the “Headlines” synthesis that Mike Sigler and Rodger Harvey will present as a keynote on 21 January. If you have suggestions for other agenda items, please contact Mike Sigler or Rodger Harvey. We’re planning another PI meeting in conjunction with the Ocean Sciences meeting in Portland in February, so if you can’t make it to Anchorage in January, we’ll hope to see you in Portland.
Side meetings appear below. If you’re planning any other BEST-BSIERP side meetings during the Symposium, please contact Tom Van Pelt.
